Custom Built Equipment and Special Services
OxyGuard also manufacture equipment to customer's specifications - if you need something that is not listed ask us - we can probably make it for you. Our technicians can also help to design and commission your system - we have many year's experience in this field, and have travelled to many far-flung places to help start complicated fish farm control systems. The following are examples of such equipment.
In 1987 OxyGuard delivered and commissioned three large salmon hatchery systems, the largest with over 100 measurements, in Sakhalin, Russia. Two technicians travelled out to this far-flung and remote peninsula and performed the commissioning exactly on schedule.
In Macau two lagoons have recently been formed as part of a land reclaim project that adds building and recreational areas to the city centre. Water condition in the lagoons is monitored by OxyGuard equipment. Each lagoon has one shore station and a number of floats with measuring equipment. Each shore station receives and logs data from the floats, and controls the stop and start of aerators. Dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH and conductivity is measured both at the surface and at a depth of some 3 metres, giving a total of 104 measurements.
Many specially made oxygen valve systems are in operation, in Germany, France, Denmark, Holland, Greece, the UK etc.
OxyGuard have delivered a number of oxygen probes to users with special requirements to the physical size of the probe. One example of this is a probe small enough to be lowered down a bore hole. Another example is a version of the Profile probe with a waterproof connector at the top.
