Oxygen and Temperature Probes and Fixtures
OxyGuard oxygen probes are characterized by high accuracy and stability, extreme ease of use together with negligible maintenance needs and costs. An OxyGuard probe has an indefinite lifetime - a new anode, membrane and electrolyte once every few years will keep it measuring "forever". Only mechanical damage - or being eaten by a tunny fish - will necessitate its replacement. All OxyGuard probes for the measurement of oxygen concentrations are internally temperature compensated. Temperature measurement sensors can also be incorporated into most oxygen probes. OxyGuard Temperature probes use the same sensors - precision NTC (thermistor) networks, and there is also a 2-wire 4-20 mA sensor with integrated transmitter. Please note that the OxyGuard probe is available in a version with UL certification as "simple apparatus" for use in EX classified areas.

The Standard probe and the 2-wire Model 420 with integrated transmitter are found in versions to measure both high and low oxygen levels, dissolved or as gas. The DO Profile probe is used for profiling measurements in ponds, lakes or oceans whilst the Ocean DO probe can measure at great depth (more than 2000 m).
Gaseous Oxygen Probes and Fixtures
The probes are the same as the dissolved oxygen probes. There are fixtures for measuring the purity of oxygen from oxygen generators, for detecting traces of oxygen in gas and for monitoring ambient air for safety purposes.

The Standard probe and the Model 420 are used for measuring high and low levels of both dissolved oxygen and oxygen in gas form. The Profile and Ocean are designed to measure naturally occurring oxygen levels in ponds, lakes and oceans. A system using the OxyGuard Pioneer fixture, designed to position an OxyGuard dissolved oxygen probe optimally in an active sludge tank, is so effective, accurate and stable that operators must learn not to service it! The EasyCal enables you to calibrate an OxyGuard dissolved oxygen probe in just two minutes - total time!

Gaseous Oxygen Probes and Fixtures
This section includes two fixtures - the probes themselves are found in the section covering dissolved oxygen probes. The air alarm can be used to ensure personal safety in places where the air may be polluted with other gases, or to ensure that the oxygen content in a room with controlled atmosphere, e.g. a fruit storage room, is as intended. The gas measurement cell can be used to monitor the purity of the output of oxygen generators as well as to monitor that other gases, e.g. helium or explosive gases, do not contain oxygen.
