The different units have different signal, alarm and control outputs etc. The OxyGuard 6 and 8 systems have features such as automatic switch to emergency supply and fail-safe alarms to ensure the greatest possible degree of monitoring security. A system of any size can be obtained by using Commander connected to the same PC. Large systems can also be configured using several OxyGuard 6 or 8 units connected to a PC using the MultiLog. As well as dissolved oxygen, the 6, 8 and Commander can be used for measuring oxygen purity, temperature, pH and redox/ORP. Indeed, in principle any parameter from any primary measurement device with an output signal span greater than 25 millivolt can be monitored.. The 840 then regulates the current in the circuit to between 4 and 20 mA according to the oxygen it senses. You can also observe the oxygen value on the 840's display. The OxyGuard 1 is a mains (or 24 VAC) powered stand-alone unit with display, three independent limit (or alarm) switches and analogue (0-20 mA or 4-20 mA) output. The battery-powered OxyLog is designed for remote environmental or sea cage monitoring. We have included the D105 display and 210 limit switch for use on 4-20 mA signals here.
