PACE XR5 Data Loggers - Eleven channel XR5 Data Logger with SMS Alarms

XR5 Data Loggers have 8 analog inputs, 3 pulse inputs, adjustable sensor excitation, detachable 20 position screw terminal block, status indicators and communication port in a mountable, palm-sized housing.  Special features include alarm generation for each analog input; fast logging at up to 250 Hz on all channels, or up to 2000 Hz on one channel; point, average and peak sampling; 12 bit resolution; memory capacity of up to 260,000 readings (-M models), and real time data output.  Logging modes include delayed start, wrap-around, cycle, log on alarm, and log on external trigger.  The XR5's firmware can be easily updated by the user.  Battery life is 2 years for typical applications.  Using a GSM modem, the XR5 can send SMS alarm messages to a cell phone.

Pricing and availability:  Six XR5 Data Loggers are available.  All are identical except for their analog input configuration and memory capacity.  (See bottom of this page for model selection details).

Comparing the XR5 with the XR440:  The XR440 Data Logger accepts a variety of miniature plug-in modules, enabling it to log a wider range of voltages than the XR5, including +/-11mv, +/-22mv, +/-107mv, 0-20mv, 0-50mv, 0-500mv, +/-5v, 0-5v, 0-10v, 0-20v, 0-30v, 0-60v, 4-20ma signals and 9 thermocouple types.  The XR440's Pocket Logger Software has easy-to-use graphing capabilities, whereas XR5 Software currently presents data in a tabular format only.  The following table provides a comparison of the two loggers:
