Grant Instruments offer bespoke custom built 'Squirrel based data logging solutions'. These systems are built and supplied to individual customer requirements, offering a great deal of flexibility of configuration within a well established standards-based framework.
The systems can include Grant supplying any type of sensor i.e. temperature and pressure voltage current etc., and also have facilities such as PSTN & GSM modems, auto diallers, various alarms and different styles of portable and wall mounted enclosures.

This system was built for monitoring fridges, freezers & incubators via our cordless telemetry system (see Grant Telemetry). This system also included an alarm output and remote auto dialler. |

| This system was built based on our popular SQ800 universal input logger. Our customer needed this logger to be built into a heavy duty portable waterproof enclosure, as they needed it to monitor engine performance of a sea going cabin boat. The logger was used to monitor temperature via thermocouples and rotational speed from a tachometer. |

A number of Fire Services use Grant Squirrel loggers for monitoring temperatures during fire training. These pictures show a typical custom built solution. This particular Fire Service required their logger to be housed in a rugged enclosure with a large visual and audible alarm. | |
