Wireless sensors offer freedom of design for your data logging system. Freedom to place the sensor where you want to, freedom to alter the system as the requirements change, all without compromising accuracy or reliability of measurements.
Using licence exempt radio telemetry means low cost of ownership and off the shelf product. It also means that installation complications that conventional cabling systems introduce are overcome.
The sensors, probes and transducers that can be used are identical to those used in conventional wired data logging systems, with the more commonly required sensors, such as temperature and humidity, built into the transmitter - further reducing any residual wiring. A special visible light and UV light module (type VUV) has been designed for low current consumption and accurate individual light and summed light metering.
Accessories include range extenders or repeaters - a device that rebroadcasts the Transmitter signal to the distant receiver with no loss of data or system reliability. Multiple repeaters can be used allowing the system to grow and change as your metering requirements change.
