Designed for use on land, the and constructed for remote or exposed locations, often encountered in professional applications or remote homes. The unit combines robust mechanical design with the latest 3-phase generator technology and incorporates a furling tail system that automatically turns the turbine out of the wind direction in wind speeds above 35mph to reduce wear and tear under prolonged high wind speed conditions. Applications are found in military establishments, science research, fish farms, water authorities, security systems, refrigeration, lighting, electric fencing, navigation lights, remote sign lighting and telecommunication equipment. The RUTLAND Furlmatic 910-3 is designed for mounting on 61mm diameter pole with a min height of 6m. Recommended for use with either voltage regulator below.
